Originally from Ohio, he completed his medical schooling at the Medical College in Ohio in 2002. He has over 12 years of clinical experience in both a primary and an urgent care setting.
He and Wendi live in Nokesville, with their son Ben.
Dr. Barrere has been working in Washington, D.C. and decided it was time to open a local practice to serve his home community. When he is not busy playing softball, serving at the area food bank, or volunteering in his son's school, he is enjoying flying, reading, canoeing, or appreciating a good homemade cookie!
a Medical Assistant, wife, and mother of 3. At the office you will see her answering phones, rooming patients, drawing blood, and doing countless other tasks of a small primary care practice.
At home, she enjoys reading, hiking, knitting, traveling, and just lounging with her family. When she is not driving to/from Charlottesville and Blacksburg, or cheering at a cross country meet, you can find her serving in the church cafe, signing on the Deaf Ministry worship team, or attending an ASL class
Due to the pandemic, the doctor is seeing patients primarily through video visits. A limited number of in-person appointments are available on a case by case basis.
